Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
I rested under a weeping willow.
Its trunk was thick and twisted
its leaves swayed in the breeze
on supple branches upheld by stronger limbs above
twisted too and content to be hidden.

Nice choice for the challenge, Susanne. I love those weeping willows. 🙂
We went to dinner in this place last night, and they have a lovely garden with a pond and weeping willow. (The pond photo comes up on the slideshow.)

Best wishes, Pete.
Beautiful! Looks like a wonderful place Pete! Thanks for sharing!
I’ve always liked weeping willows! We don’t really have many in this area though. 😊
Me too! There are several alongside the Cedar River trail which is where I took these pictures.
Beautifully written and photographed 🙂
Aw thanks so much! You’re busy in the blogosphere today. 🙂 🙂
I’m trying to make up for lost time, a catch-up day. You know how it is – tough to find enough time to write, and even harder to set aside enough time for reading.
Very true! Thanks for taking the time to explore my posts! 🙂
I always enjoy your blog, Susanne!
