Cheerful Nature Shots

It’s cold and rainy here in the Great Northwest so I thought I’d cheer us up with some nature shots.

How about a doggie enjoying sunset at Cannon Beach. Not mine, but wouldn’t it be nice?

Here’s a chubby Robin looking quite dapper!

This Elk wants you to smile so show me your teeth!

Finally, an orange rose from my garden though not this year’s, which I am sharing with the Flower Hour.

As my cheerful husband would say, “Blue skies, smiling at me, nothing but blue skies, do I see.”

Just ahead.

  1. Great post to highlight cheerful nature shots, Susanne! I have a female elk pic almost exactly like yours (from Yellowstone)–so cute! I think we’re having the same gray, windy, showery weather today, such a difference from Sunday. The coral color and picture of the rose is beautiful!

  2. A lovely idea to brighten the day with these great nature shots! Your rose is especially beautiful 🌹

  3. My cheerful Dad used to sing that same song as your husband….nice memory!

  4. These photos are breathtaking, Susanne!

Seeing the dog enjoying the golden hour and the robin observing the view, with that beautifully vibrant red flower blossoming is a breath of fresh air!

Thank you so much for sharing these incredible photographs with all of us!

    These pictures are spectacular!
