Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
An ordinary garden shrub sits outside my front door which makes it an easy object of my photography. On the first day of our winter storm in December, I went outside to capture the snow as it began to fall and collect on the berries.
Happy to share white snowy pictures for Cee’s Midweek Madness challenge, White.

Snow Berries, lovely! β€οΈ
Snowy berries, indeed! Thank you! π
How pretty! Plus if you look at the second you last photo, there is a branch that looks like a little white mouse with a red nose, looking sideways! At least to the whimsical mind it does!ππ
Yes, I see it! He’s sitting there, with his little hands resting on his chin! π
Yep!
The snow adds to the photo, undoubtedly. But I still don’t want to see any here in Beetley! π
Best wishes, Pete.
I love how the snow makes everything beautiful, but no longer than a week, please! π
Oh Susanne, what beautiful berries with snow π π
Thank you so much! π
AmaZing contrast of color!
Thank you!
Lovely π
Thanks so much!
Lovely, Susanne!
Thanks so much! π
Love that top photo and I like the mouse in the third one too!
Thank you! I was happy to have the mouse pointed out to me as I had totally missed him! πΈ
There is no comments box on your waterfall post, Susanne.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks so much, Pete! I always allow comments so who knows why it defaulted to no comments?? I fixed it! π

Beautiful, Susanne! I see the little mouse (I always need prompting for that stuff). There is something so amazing about white with one pop of color! Save some white for the “white” color challenge this weekend–you can double-dip with Cee again too!
Thanks, Terri! I didn’t realize you were doing white this week, I could have saved my post!! But I’ll just have to find some more white!! Seems to be plenty around this time of year! ππ
Very pretty. Such a simple subject, but well worth the effort. Thank you for sharing.
You’re very welcome! Thanks for stopping by! π
