On my weekend walk at Coulon Park I found the stony walkers all dressed up for Labor Day in honor of our essential workers.

The maple trees have also started changing into their fall dress – much earlier than usual – no doubt due to our extreme summer weather.

Love those statues! Spectacular changes in the trees, there. Sometimes it’s as late as November before we have full fall, but I can see a few changes beginning, even here.

This year seems early but we had record breaking temps this summer – over 110 degrees – and it seems to have jump started them! I’ll go back in a couple of weeks and expect the green to be gone. 🙂
