Looking for Red, White, and Blue midst the Gold
I went walking at Soos Creek Botanical Garden yesterday and found a lot of gold, especially in the Carlmas Long Border.
But I was looking for red, white, and blue and found it scattered about in the form of brilliant red roses,
white hydrangeas,
daisies,
and morning glory.
I found more white near the pond, surrounded by green and a touch of blue,
more blue in the hydrangeas,
and if you stretch it a bit on the spectrum, shades of blue below.

That looks a wonderful garden! I love your red roses and the white hydrangea, and while I think you may be stretching it a bit to call that waterlily blue, it’s entirely acceptable as it allowed you include that fabulous last shot with the hovering bee!
Thanks, Sarah! I had to get the shot of the bee in there somehow! I think it was a clematis, somewhere on the spectrum between red and blue! 😉 🙂
