Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
There’s nothing like spending time in the garden with Benji.
Whether it’s watching him leap effortlessly to the top of the fence to survey his kingdom.
Or watching him hunt a green bean;
It’s a thing of beauty.

He captured it for sure. Now what?
Play with it for a while then release it back to the wild!..All of his prey should be so lucky! π
LOL
Who knew that a green bean could be so much fun? I absolutely loved the photo-story!
Thank so much! It was a great surprise to me too, and so much fun to watch!! π
We too have a cat that is fascinated with green beans. I wonder what it is.
This is the first year I actually harvested green beans from my garden and when he found one on the ground, he just went wild with it! I had to look it up quickly to be sure they aren’t harmful to cats – they aren’t. Maybe just the perfect size to play with?
Most of them like things that are long and slender. I think the fact that a green bean smells strongly of nature helps.
Great photos!
Thanks so much! Benji made it easy today! π
He is a playful guy π
Yes he is! And so much fun to watch! π
You could corner the market in this new cat toy! π
Best wishes, Pete.
“Grow your own cat toy! Its hours of fun for your cat! And they’re edible!” ππ»
That is hysterical! ππ Benji certainly has imagination. Who knows what goes through a catβs mind while chasing a green bean? I love it!!
it was so entertaining to watch! Benji really enjoys being a cat! πΊπ»
I love that we get our cats toys, but the best ones are the ones they find themselves. LOL
Everything is a toy to Benji! πΈπΊ

How kind of you to say so! π I had such a thrill watching him that it was a joy to keep my camera on him. π
