Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
Anything can look eerie in black and white.
Spiderwebs
Trees
Hotels
Staircases
Bunkers
and of course …
Cemeteries
Did I scare you? 😉
Just for fun – and for Sunday Stills Photo Challenge – Eerie.
~ Susanne
Wonderful photos, the grayscale really sets them off!
Thanks so much! I had fun playing with them! 🙂
These are great images in and of themselves, Susanne! Add the eerie editing and bang! Halloween and the fun of photo-editing. The cobweb is fantastic and I love that creepy buinker! Nicely done!
Thanks so much Terri. I had fun with this week’s challenge! One morning a few years ago, I found cobwebs everywhere in the backyard, looking really thick and eerie covered in dew! Fortunately no giant spider was seen! 😁
Now that would be scary!!
That is a very impressive web! I wouldn’t like to walk through it in the dark.
Best wishes, Pete.
It really was! One morning I went outside to find webs strung all over the backyard, looking as thick as rope! Very mysterious!
Hate to see the spider that spun those!
My thoughts exactly!
Terrific shots! Black and white adds a filter of spookiness to everything!
Yes indeed! Thanks John!
Wow! Those are great pictures! I love the black and white too!
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoyed them!

Great photo choices, and you’re right, when turned black and white, anything can look eerie.
Thank you. ☺
