Venus and the Pleiades
This week Venus is putting on quite a show so I set up my tripod and got this photo from the front yard. Honestly I didn’t see the star cluster Pleiades with my naked eye but my camera did.
During these trying times it’s good to look up!

If it ever clears here I hope to see the sky too. In the meantime thanks for the shot. I remember seeing Pleiades as a backyard kid sky gazer.
I was surprised that we actually had clear skies! So it was a treat.

Thanks Pete! I tried it first without the tripod thinking somehow I could get by – haha – since I didn’t want to set it up. But it was actually quick and easy and I was happy with the result.
