Out of Covid Jail – Hooray!

I got the new test kits in the mail and tested negative last night and today. So, after 12 days I’m officially out of covid jail.

I thought I’d celebrate with these charming sea otters from Morro Bay. (I’ll take any excuse to share them again!)

    • Thank you! I’m relieved! And I thought it was a good excuse to share these cute otters. I’d love to go back to Morro Bay and spend more time!

    • So true! And Morro Bay was an unexpected highlight of our trip! I hope to go back and spend more time there someday.

  1. Glad you’re out of jail and feeling better. I’m under the weather today, a rare occurrence for me, but don’t know yet whether it’s just a bug or you know what.

    • Uh-oh! Hope it’s not covid but it’s really going around. Take care. Bob’s not feeling good tonight either and I’m hoping he’s not getting it. At least I’m well enough to take care of him if I need to.

  2. Glad to hear you’re out of jail πŸ™‚ And I hope you’re feeling better too? Over here (UK) there’s no legal/formal requirement to isolate at all now, but most of us do although not for 12 days. I did go out when I had it but only in open spaces and steering well clear of other people. Those otters are a sweet way to celebrate πŸ™‚

    • Thanks so much for your comment. I do feel better! The guidance has been confusing here but if you have covid,
you’re to isolate for 5 days when you’re the most contagious. After 5 days, if your symptoms are mostly gone and you don’t have a fever, you can go out with a mask. I still felt crummy and tested positive through day 10, and wanted to be very careful so waited till I tested negative.

By the way, I got my final Paradise post out today with our hike to Snow Lake!
