Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life

I looked out my window and this is what I saw – the nimble one fast asleep.
Outside I went, camera in hand to take stock of the situation.
“Benji, what are you doing up there?”
“Isn’t it obvious Sue? I’m taking a nap. At least I was before you woke me up. But if it bothers you I’ll come down.”
“Sorry Benji. It’s just that it startles me to see you up so high. It’s unnatural.”
“Actually Sue, it’s very natural.Β Look at the grip on these paws. It’s a cake walk.”
“Sure Benji, you do have quite a grip. But thanks for coming down anyway.”
“Don’t mention it, Sue.”

He does seem to like that tiny caravan. I suppose the top is warm, and he gets a good view of any ‘prey’. π
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks Pete. A good place to survey his kingdom I guess. π This is the first time I caught him sleeping on the very top and he looked so cute. He does seem to like high places.
So cute! Maybe heβs part Bengal cat. Iβve read that they really like heights! π
Maybe so! He does have similar markings! π
Yes I was thinking the same thingπ€
Maybe he wants to go with you on your next camping trip; our cat loves to go!π
I wish he could. But he hates to drive in the car, and wouldn’t like to be confined when we reached our destination. He’s happier at home, sleeping on the roof! ππ±
I had a cat like that once. He hated the car!
That’s a very steep decline!
Isn’t it though? And high up too! But it’s nothing to this cat! ππ±
What a perfect photo as he descends confidently down the trailer.
He’s certainly confident isn’t he!? π
