Changing Trees of Color on the Street Where I Live

I don’t have to go far to find colorful fall leaves; I just walk to the park at the end of my street and enjoy.

The pictures below are from prior years; I’ll tell you why.

A windstorm brought down the tallest tree on the right late last year.

It was a sad affair. He lay in state for months until they could haul him away.

I thought that array would never be the same.

Maybe not.

The tallest is now on the opposite end, guarding the most colorful in the middle.

But life goes on.

Different, but as gorgeous as before.

Sharing with Sunday Stills, #Leaf Peeping.

    • Thanks, Terri! I love watching those trees change color every year. It was sad to see the big one fall, but it didnt impact the beauty of those that remain. 😊

  1. One of the best parts of fall: when the trees offer up an explosion of color to signal it’s about time to go to sleep for the winter! Love the colors

    • I love watching those trees turn color every year. I was sad to see the big one come down, but was thankful it didnt damage anything else in the park. It landed very close to the field house.
