Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
I see trees that block the sun
and swallow men.
That lean and bend before they fall
and are buried.
I see trails
guarded
by monsters
and camels, ready to give the weary hiker a lift.
What do you see in the woods?
~ Susanne
Amazing and beautiful photos, Susanne! I love how you see things in the woods. ❤️
Thanks so much, John!
You are welcome. ❤️
Oh those trees are tall. I so adore where we live 😀 😀 I love your story too 😀
Thank you so much!! I love where we live, too!! 😊😊
Love the camel- that is so cool.
I liked him, too! Thank you!
I see identical things in our local woods, except the trees are not so tall. 🙂
I also see the deer that live in them, small Muntjacs, mostly.
Best wishes, Pete.
Deer are always good to see. I was worried we might see a bear but we only saw a a pretend camel. 😊
love this
😊
This reminds me of my home. We live in northern California near the ocean in the heart of the redwood country.
Ah yes! I love the Redwoods. This is Federation Forest, old-growth forest, on the way to Mt Rainier.
These are great Susanne. Love the camel!
Thanks, Graham. I couldn’t resist!
Fabulous photos and a fun interpretation, especially spotting that camel 😃
Thanks so much! I loved seeing the camel! 😁😊
A walk in the woods is a walk in “Fairy-landia” if you let your imagination run wild! I love the woods! And your photos today, Susanne.
Thanks so much! You never know what you’ll see on the woods! 😊
Great pictures! 😀
Thanks so much! I only brought my phone but it served me well!
