Fall in the Rear View Mirror

It’s kind of early for winter but cold has descended on the Pacific Northwest bringing freezing temperatures overnight.

Benji wonders when it’s going to warm up but I have to tell him, “Sorry,”

“Fall is in the rear view mirror.”

  1. Your trees over there do look beautiful. We don’t have much like that in Beetley, but other parts of this country do put on a ‘show’.
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • This is a special spot for fall color and is fortunately nearby. It even made the front page of the Seattle Times, our local paper.

  2. Nicely done with the mirror shot. The continuation of that yellow line gives it that extra dynamic in my opinion.

  3. oh wow that mirror shot, just perfect. And love Benji – what a lovely face. What did he do to his ear though?

    • Thanks so much! Benji was a rescue cat. His ear was cropped when we got him. I don’t know the whole story but some rescue organizations crop the ear after they neuter a feral cat they intend to release. If so,.they certainly overdid it. But Benji’s the sweetest kitty ever!

  4. Love the rear view mirror pic! You almost can’t tell where the mirror ends and the non-mirror part begins! And of course Benji is as adorable as always😻
