Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
Another cold and rainy day in the Pacific Northwest and a Monday besides. Though all things are green in the garden, work will have to wait. We have been promised a day of sunshine this week and are hoping the promise is not vain.
Tucked inside, Mom and I play cribbage (don’t ask who won) and Tiger watches nearby, happy to be where we are.
Benji is tuckered out from last night’s prowling about and curls up for a good nap near the fire. He is dreaming of tonight’s adventure.
There are worse ways to spend a Monday I suppose.

We had rain this morning, and the sun has flitted back and forth, shining and retreating behind the clouds. Effie is napping in her chair after a major bug hunt in Effieland. A good Monday all in all here.
This has been a very fickle spring. But we will take what we get and make the best of it! 🙂
We will! What are our options? 🙂
Well there are some….. but they probably involve a move which I’m not ready for quite yet! 🙂
Right. We’re a lot alike. . .
Interesting to see a fire burning there. We haven’t needed any heat in the house for a couple of weeks now. Despite a drop in temperatures since last weekend, it is still around 13 C today.
Best wishes, Pete.
We like having wood heat and often have a fire going except during summer months. And it has been a particularly cool and rainy spring though temperatures are now in the fifties. But I’m happy to report there is no rain in the forecast today! All of Seattle will come out to enjoy it! 🙂
Looks like Benji had a great day perfect day for a cat nap
Yes! Benji thinks everyday is good for a cat nap but rainy days by the fire are the best! 🐱😊
