That is a beautiful sunrise, and lovely shots!
The reason we don’t get to see the sun rise is the hummocks east of us higher than we are that block the rising sun. I suppose we could go up the hill and catch the view from there. . . but mornings are pretty rushed.
At least we have spectacular sunsets; we’re higher than anything on our west side.
Thank you! I have been so amazed at the sunrises this winter. I usually catch a glimpse from my house and by walking to the end of the street get better views. But the best shot is up a short hill nearby that we take everyday. So if I see what’s coming and I have to go out, I carry my camera. I need a sign for my car that says, ‘I brake for sunrises and sunsets.!’ 🙂
As I often say when I see shots like these, I must get up earlier!
