Surprised by March Snow
I’d already taken to celebrating spring, then woke up this morning to snow.
It’s wet and sloppy and too late in the season for my taste.
But still pretty.

A bit of a shock to the system no doubt. We had snow here last week and a big storm system moving through might deposit more this weekend, just on the mountain tops though!
Yes, a huge surprise! I was ready for spring. It snowed all day, we got 4 inches or so. I saw there was a terrible storm in Hawaii, too!
It’s ongoing! Power’s been out twice today for about 10 hours total and it’s currently howling and lashing down with rain. I feel sorry for tourists who booked this week to visit.
A terrible time to visit. 😐
Ours is all melted- I miss it.

Lovely photos! Would be nicer in December, though. 😄 We had a similar experience – first a few mild days, then a sudden snowstorm. Thankfully, it didn’t last long.
Thank you! The snowstorm was a surprise to all of us, this late in March. We still have snow on the ground, but hopefully, we’re moving on to spring now! 🙂
Lucky you! We’ve got summer temps here. I could have done with a little more spring weather.
This was the last hurrah of winter here and very unexpected this late in March. Looking forward to spring this week. 🙂
