Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
It’s a beautiful fall day and I’m inside doing paperwork.
Time for a break.
The birds had the same idea and were everywhere.
The Robins were most plentiful.
Handsome.

Friendly and inquisitive.

There for the watering holes.

There were other birds too, smaller and faster, I couldn’t catch them all.
Chickadees.

Wrens.

Sparrows.

And then they were gone, back to their birdy activities, and I back to mine.
We were all happy for the break.

Aw, they are such cute dinosaurs! I have two robins that love to splash about in my bird baths. ❤️
They’re cute birds indeed.
Wow! Your photographs are amazing!!
Aw, thank you! Literally from my backyard this morning!
They are charmers! Hugs.
Thank you!
Lovely shots of your bird visitors! I always enjoy seeing your very different US robins.
Thanks, Sarah. They are so friendly, I love having them drop by!
Your American Robins are larger and less colourful than ours in the UK. But it’s still great to see them.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, they are quite different than the European Robin, but reminded the settlers of the New World, of the ones from the old country, hence the name! They are prolific here, and so friendly. 😊
Lovely birds, thanks for sharing!
So glad you enjoyed them!
