Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life

“We really missed you, Sue.”

“I know you did, Benji. I can tell. I missed you too.”
“You did, Sue? Honest?”

“Well, sure I did, Benji. I don’t think I saw a single cat in New York City. Lots of dogs though.”
“You’re kidding, Sue. Not a single cat?”

“Well none that I can remember. I don’t think cats like strolling in Central Park like the dogs do. And even if there was a cat, it wouldn’t have been you, Benji. You’re the best.”
“Aww, thanks, Sue.”

“What about me, Sue? Did you miss me too?”

“Of course I did, Tiger! You’re the best, too!”

“Thanks, Sue. Appreciate it.”
Back in the Pacific Northwest where despite the drizzle and gray skies, all is well.

Cats are the best creatures for speaking without words 🐾💛🐾💝
Yes indeed! It’s all in the eyes! 🥰😻
While you may not have seen a cat, I saw one in Central Park once – on a leash!
Ha! I wouldn’t be surprised! I must have missed that one! 😸😺
Tiger and Benji are very beautiful cats, Susanne! 😻😻❤️
Thanks so much, John!
You are welcome, Susanne. 😊😻
It must feel so calm and serene after the big Apple!
Except I left behind blue skies and sunshine and returned to rainy gray! Oh well, it is indeed good to be home. 😊
That’s too bad. We have sunny skies, too. Sorry to run that in.😉
It did clear up and it looks like we’ll have a few good days before the rain returns. Price you pay for living in the Pacific NW. 😃🌥🌦
That’s ok. We’re about to have snow!😳
Already?? Yikes!
They must be so happy to have you home again.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete. They won’t let me out of their sight for a while, as you can tell by these photos. 🙂
I love cat conversations!
Me too! 😸😻
I’m glad Benji and Tiger are as glad to see you as you are to see them! Benji was being very photogenic!
