Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
Rain is falling and clouds are hanging low. Grass is wet, my feet are too.
Young birds all aflutter at the beaver pond, follow their mamas from branch to branch waiting for food. Do they belong? Only she knows.
Water, water everywhere and all is wet and green.

Are there any beavers in the pond? 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
I believe they are there but I didn’t see any, just lots of birds.
Shame, I would like to see beavers.
Me too. Maybe next time.
So green and lush! It is this time of the year in Arizona, that I really miss the PNW. In that last picture, do I spy a heron in flight, low over the water?
We are definitely green and lush these days, and very wet too! 🙂 You have a good eye! I watched the heron lift off and fly to the other side to do some fishing but couldn’t capture him well.
We just topped 95 degrees here…now down to high 70s with 80s+ to come next week…
Wow! Send some of that north; we could use it here. We’ve had nothing but rain and cool temperatures for days on end. At least we get all the green as a compensation. 😉
So much green! It’s so pretty! Of course here in Fresno the grass is starting to get dry again, so I’ll have to start watering my lawn more faithfully😋
We don’t have to worry about watering for a while. We’ve had lots of rain for days on end! 😉
WoW it’s so green! We’ve had a lot of rain here in North Carolina as well.
Yes, we’re the Evergreen State, and it’s due to all the rain! I should be used to it by now. 😉
Tons of green, I can get my green-fix!
Lots of green for sure! 🙂
