We are in the midst of HEAVY RAIN throughout Los Angeles right now, and it is expected to last into next week. Since we had gone back into a drought, this is great news…I am hoping that my Orange, Grapefruit and Lemon trees, which were flowering again, handle the extra moisture – luckily, the temperature is mild…
That doesn’t sound fun. We had heavy rain here all winter. Today is nice and sunny but temperatures are expected to plummet and rain returns tomorrow. Winter’s last hurrah I guess. I hope your citrus trees handle it okay. I’d love to have them in my garden! š
Oh so beautiful š
Thank you so much! š
Here our azaleas are deciduous. I don’t remember that the ones in Portland were. Are yours or are they evergreen?
I have some of both. The ones in the pictures are evergreen.
I thought I remembered them as evergreen.
Here in Savannah, Goergia, or maybe most of the south Azaleas bloom like crazy! They are so beautiful and short lived.
I visited Savannah once upon a time but it was probably the wrong time of year to see azaleas in bloom. I imagine they are plentiful everywhere in the south. I have a few different varieties in my yard – both evergreen and deciduous – so they keep things colorful throughout spring. Thanks for your comment and your follow too! š
