   • Thanks Pete. 🙂 You’re even earlier than us! Sunset here is happening around 4:40 and I just happened to notice the lovely colors around 5:00.

     • Winter starts early here. It’s bleak! 🙂
       Won’t be long before it is dark just after 3:30!

     • Yikes! We’re marching toward early sunsets here around 4:15 in the darkest days of winter… And when it becomes almost unbearable, spring will return!

     • How soon we forget the long light evenings…

3. The purple is splendid. We only get a peek at the sunset from our home, but I cherish the display of colors too.

   • I was so happy to see the purple colors. I hadn’t even realized till I happened outside that the sun had already set.

     • Best to overlook how early evening is arriving.

4. Just look at those beautiful colours! Winter weather starts early in Ireland and while we rarely get extreme temperatures it’s the dampness that’s the joy killer, that’s why we cherish every moment of colourful sunsets

   • Thank you! I wonder if our climates are similar. We’re pretty damp here in Seattle too from November to April! 🙂
