Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life

“Good morning boys,'” I say. “Winter is on the way. Time to clean up the fall garden.”
Tiger’s ready.
Benji too.
“Benji, it looks like we have an intruder. You know what to do.”
And he does.
Then we tackle the garden beds. Tiger leaves the heavy lifting to Benji. It’s an age thing.
.
When the work is done we rest.
At least for today.

These are always so cute! Love your cats and their personalities.
Aw thanks so much! 🙂
Always good to have help around the garden, Susanne. 🙂 Four paws are better than two.
Best wishes, Pete.
Sorry. That should read ‘six paws’, including yours! 🙂
Oh, I don’t know, I kind of like the idea of four paws! That way I just get to watch! 🙂 🙂
So cute! It looks like Benji really “goes to town” capturing the intruder. Is it a mole? Or a gopher? 😬
Thank you. He takes his hunting seriously! I assume it was a mole. 😊
Such beautiful cats and the garden is lovely, Susanne. And I know they are so helpful!
Thank you so much! Yes, they are handsome boys and helpful too! 😉
Lovely post! I’d love to spend some time in your garden, it looks very peaceful.
Thank you so much! 😊
Did he get the mole? Do you rent him out?
I do see carcasses periodically in the yard, but on this particular occasion I didn’t see the tunnel dweller meet his end (which is better for me.) Hadn’t thought of renting him out but it’s a possibility! Benji usually gets his target! 😉😁
