Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
For this week’s photo challenge I take you to one of my favorite places: Lake Crescent on the Olympic Peninsula in my home state of Washington.
.It exudes beauty, calm and peace. I wish I were there right now.Β How about you?

I can imagine sitting in that seat, enjoying the view. Nicely done, Susanne.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks Pete. It’s truly a special place.
Susanne, how far from Seattle? How crowded was it? It amazes me how incredible these locations are, so close to home!
Maybe 3 hours from Seattle, in Olympic National Park. We go there almost every year. You’d love it! π
Great!
I will add that to our Bucket List!
Definitely worth a visit! π
I love Hood Canal, at Seabeck. Spent many weeks there in the 1980’s.
I love Hood Canal too! My grandma & grandpa and my mom lived in Brinnon for many years. I have wonderful memories of summers spent there! π Lake Crescent is maybe 2 hours past there..
That chair looks so nice right now. A cup of tea, a good book, my camera, and that view. Ahhhh!

Agree! Oh to be there right now! π
Really gorgeous place, refreshing and peaceful!
Yes, it’s a wonderful peaceful place. π We’ll go again this summer. In fact, I better go book my lodging! π
Lovely photo, and good choice for a favorite place.
Thank you so much! π
