Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
It’s a blustery, rainy day in the Great Northwest and this is the scene from my office window.

Most of the leaves are hanging on,

though some have let go, landing on my car, where I enjoy them on my windshield.

Inside, Benji is getting restless; he wants to go outside, why won’t I do something about the weather?

He’s naughty but I understand and give him extra grace.

Finally, we both give in; we have no choice.

How’s your Monday?
~ Susanne
You are a lucky cat, Benji! You have a warm home and great humans to care for you! π»
Yes indeed!

Beautiful photos.
Thank you. βΊοΈ
Love the leaves and raindrops. Monday here is pretty much the same as there, windy and rain all day. I felt sorry for people on vacation here.
Oh wow, there too? I guess I won’t feel too bad then.. next few days are supposed to be better here..
The leaves here are still hanging on – and the leaf pick-up schedule states that the first week of Dec. is the last pick up! I fear that our after Thanksgiving activity won’t be napping but raking leaves at our other house (which isn’t on the market yet)! Benji has the right idea – relax and stare out the window!
So many leaves here too, maybe as many on the ground as on the trees. All pretty colors of red and orange and gold and brown. Haven’t thought much yet about raking!
Your house is a cat’s paradise at this time of year! I went out in my car yesterday for the first time in almost a week. The dry leaves covering it blew away as I drove down the street. A real sign of autumn kicking in fully.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, the cats have it pretty good, inside and out! Fortunately, it will be clear and dry the next few days, so Benji can choose where he’d like to spend his time. Right now, he’s chosen my lap. π

Thank you. π
We’re stuck in a weather rut here – dull and grey but no rain, it’s been like that for a week now! But at least we can get outside – I bet Benji would love to swap with us! Oh, and you too perhaps?
Yesterday started out pretty miserable but improved as the day wore on. The next few days are supposed to be dry, but rain expected by the weekend. Should be the pattern the next few months. That’s life in the Northwest! π€π¦βΊοΈ
