Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
I first saw them resting under the tree,

but it wasn’t long till they were heading for the beach,

for a swim in the choppy waters,

until it was time for lunch.

Just by watching them, I was refreshed and renewed.

That’s a big lake! The goslings are here too around the man-made lakes. So cute!
Yes, Lake Washington is huge. 34 miles of surface area. Second largest natural lake in Washington.
Wow, that’s huge! The boaters must be very happy.
Yes, lots of happy boaters on the lake and surrounds. It also links to Lake Union and Puget Sound through a canal/locks system.
Wow, I had no idea! I’m a boater at heart but now live in a desert but would looove to navigate the lake, canal and locks!
They are such attentive parents!
Yes, indeed! They are good leaders and the goslings, good followers. π
Great photo montage!
Thank you so much! I had fun watching them. π
Too cute Susanne. Must have been fun watching them.
Thanks, Graham. I really enjoyed watching them. π
oh how wonderful – such fun to watch with you
So glad you enjoyed it! ππ
I love how nature just carries on and ignores us. Gives me hope for the future.
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes indeed. New life just goes on! Thanks, Pete. π
They’re very cute as goslings although the adults aren’t among my favourite birds (too noisy and bossy!)
All baby animals are cute though, aren’t they? ππ
What a darling family. π
Yes indeed! Thank you. ππ
