Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
Yesterday that is. We woke to our most substantial snowfall of the season and even then it was no more than an inch or two.

But it was enough for me to get my seasonal pictures of snow on the berries out my front door.

No more snow in the forecast but who really knows?
That’s what makes life interesting.

Looks like a Christmas card! ❄️
Indeed! Thank you!
Gorgeous photos. :D 😀
We didn’t get any snow other than maybe a few flakes. Living in the Willamette Valley we usually get little to no snow 😀
Thank you! I was surprised to get some accumulation and always love to see it on the berries! 🙂
Oh those red berries.
Thank you! 🙂
The snow makes beautiful photos, Susanne! Sunny and 66 in Vegas today. 🌴😊
Indeed it does! But now I’m ready for spring! 🙂
Bring on Spring!
There has only been one day of measurable snow in New York this winter, and apparently Buffalo is less than half its normal snowfall…which means less snow in the upper New York mountains which is the city’s drinking water!
I didn’t realize that! Same here! Today’s paper said the Olympics have half their normal amount of snowpack!
You made the most of that unexpected snow with some lovely photos!
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete! I love seeing the snow on berries!
So pretty, Susanne! Crazy snow, but yours look so fluffy. What fell here was graupel that our weather guy calls Dippin’ Dots.
Thank you! It was pretty for a day and then I’m happy for it to be gone! Dipping Dots sounds fun too. Our hail earlier in the week was like that.
Marvelous photos of the berries in the snow! I am not putting the winter clothes away anytime soon…. they say no snow but I’ve seen snow in April and May even!!
Hopefully that’s winter’s last hurrah here but you never know!
Amazing photos! 😀
Thanks so much!
The second berry picture is my favourite!
Thanks!
Thank you!
Wow, so beautiful. Thank you for sharing your images. Hugs, C
So glad you enjoyed them!
Snow seems to be gone for the season around here in central Illinois. But then there’s alway April. We have to get at least one snowstorm in April, usually after a string of 80 degree days. LOL
We are now in a wonderful warm spell, close to 70 degrees for a few days. Hooray!
