Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
It’s good to be back home in the Northwest, especially in my garden, where everything is lush and green.

The cats are happy too.

I’m ready to plant the catmint, yarrow, lavender, and salvia in the last empty garden bed, but not before Benji has a chance to sample them.

Happy Caturday!
~ Susanne
I can think of a couple of cats who will be looking forward to that Catmint! 🙂
Best wishes, Pete.
Yes, indeed! That garden bed has remained empty since they sleep in it! So I thought I might as well plant some things they’d enjoy! 🙂
So cute! I wonder if catmint can be a house plant as well? Since Foster is a house cat🤔
Good question! I’ve had catmint in one of my herb beds for years and both cats really like it. They tend to nibble on it, and don’t get quite so ‘high’ like they do on catnip! It’s perennial, and comes back every year, and it’s a pretty plant, too. 🙂
Hmm…I’ll have to look it up.
Hi Susanne
What a great idea to plant catmint in their favorite garden bed!

Thank you! I figured I might as well give the bed over to them, and the assortment of plants will look good, too!
Your backyard is lovely, Susanne! Your cats are so cute! ❤️
Thank you so much! 🙂
You are welcome, Susanne, happy weekend!
Welcome home!
Thank you! There’s no place like home!
Nice to stop and smell the flowers.:)
Yes indeed! And maybe take a few bites, too!
