After the Rain

After last week’s heat wave, Juneuary returned to the Pacific Northwest bringing cold, wet, windy, winterlike weather. But after a few days of torrential rainfall, the sun reappeared yesterday along with some magnificent clouds.

The air has been washed fresh and clean, new plants have been watered in – time to return to summer! 🙂

  1. Great cloud captures, Susanne. We have a sunny 23C here today, and warmer tomorrow! 🙂
    Best wishes, Pete.

    • Thanks Pete! We seem to share the same weather! We’re still a bit cool here but things are looking up! 🙂

  2. Cool clouds! Our clouds yesterday included a tornado – unusual this close to the Rocky Mountains. We would have loved some rain instead! Take care.

    • Thanks so nuch! My husband was outside and told me to grab my camera and come see the clouds! I was glad I did!

  3. I guess it is your heat wave now plunked over New England. Just had a thunder storm though, so maybe we will cool off.

  4. Gorgeous clouds! We had a “heat wave” of our own here in Fresno, up to triple digits, and then today there was a nice “coastal type” breeze, which was nice since we really are not near the coast!

    • It seems to have swept across the country like that. I like that it cooled down but now it’s too cold.. somewhere in the middle would be nice! 😁

  5. Ah, I do miss the clouds of the PNW. That contrast between rich blue and fluffy white is so beautiful.
