Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
Timing is everything.
We’ve been to Point Defiance in Tacoma many times, but don’t always hit the right season to find the gardens in bloom.
One year we did.
There were Roses – I’m partial to the orange ones.

There were Dahlias – I love all colors.

And there were Fuchsias – the most difficult flower to spell. (Every single time.)

And all were made prettier with a few raindrops.

I can never spell those F ones, either. So many lovely dahlias but I think I like roses best. My Mam’s favourite xx
I’m partial to roses too! 🙂 And even though I know the pitfalls, I always spell fuchsia wrong the first time I type it!
Oh, these are stunning captures, Susanne! I love the vivid orange shades. And yes the raindrops emphasize their beauty! 💐
Thanks, Terri! I was happy to find a reason to pull these flowers out of my archives and give them the light of day! 🙂
Glorious!! 🧡❤️🩷💛🤗
Aw, thank you!!
Beautiful blooms.
Thank you. 🙂
Fabulous flowers Susanne. The roses are gorgeous.
Thanks, Graham I love the roses.
Lovely close-ups today, Susanne. The water droplets on the flowers really do enhance them.
Best wishes, Pete.
Thanks, Pete. ☺️
