5. Wow, Susanne, you got up close and personal with that bee! Gorgeous shots and colors!

   We’ve got so many bumblebees on our sunflowers I’m afraid to go into my fenced garden to pick the tomatoes. A huge volunteer sunflower owns the garden now. 🧡💛😆

   • Thanks so much, Terri! I was dying to share these pictures when I took them last week, but I knew your Orange challenge was coming up so I managed to restrain myself till today! 😉

     I love sunflowers but haven’t been very successful growing them. I once had a tall one at my old house, and watched a squirrel climb up and break it in half! 🙂

     • They seem to grow wild here. I’m sure the black oil seeds I feed the birds with in winter helped with the planting.
