Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
I am a little spider
I mean no harm to you

I’m here to help your garden
and eat some bugs it’s true.

So please do not disturb me
or notify my prey

Just take your shot
and I’ll ignore you
till you go away.

Watch your step when you leave the house – it’s spider season in Seattle.

As long as they stay in the garden I’m happy with them! Great photos that made me cringe in fear!! Much scarier than the Halloween stories being posted!
Harmless especially if they stay outside!
Unexpectedly colorful !
Yes! 😊 Very seasonal. Shades of orange and black and brown!
We remind each other, my husband and me, to take care not to walk through “Charlotte’s” anchor thread that she spins across the path to the back yard every night. Her bulbous hind end makes me think she should be called Kim, rather than Charlotte.
You can’t be too careful! 😀🕸🕷
Spider season in England too! Great shots and lovely little rhyme 😀
Thanks, Sarah. A little corny perhaps, but I had fun with the rhyme. 😊🕷🕸
Every spider is fine except that leaping wolf spider!
I’m not fond of spiders but this little garden variety doesn’t bother me at all. It’s a good thing as it’s everywhere outside this time of year!
We sometimes relocate spiders!
I leave the ones outside alone, unless I accidentally walk through their web. But the fate of house spiders is less certain!
Especially in the bathtub as I step in!
The worst! 🕷
