Musings on cats, travel, gardens and life
After a warm and dry spring the rain has returned to Seattle like an old friend and the raindrops were welcomed all over my garden.

Nice photos of the drop. Don’t know about ‘welcoming’ raindrops though. I have a few million in my back garden at the moment, and they are most definitely NOT welcome! ๐
Best wishes, Pete.
*raindrops*, not ‘drop’. Typing too fast again! ๐
Happens to me all the time! I wish WP would let you edit your own comments!
I get it Pete! ๐ They’re only welcome after being missing in action for weeks. After a day or two it’s time for them to move on!
Such delicate beauty.
Thank you. ๐ Even on ordinary plants.
You have some real beautiful leaves with raindrops. Beautiful ๐
Thanks so much! ๐
Wow, your raindrops are spectacular and so delicate, Susanne! We sure need rain here.
Thanks Terri! I really was happy to see the rain!
Beautiful raindrops, I especially like the spirea shots – so vivid! We had the driest April for years so all the gardeners were crying out for rain. Now May has started much wetter (and colder) than usual and we’re all moaning about the rain. Never happy ๐
Thank you. ๐ I understand! Our April was exceptionally dry. May has returned to a more normal spring for the Seattle area. The plants appreciate it, but my cats do not!
Love the photos. We’d love to see raindrops here inn drought stricken SW Colorado.
Thanks. There’s nothing like rain when it’s desperately needed!
Oh how I love droplets on flowers…now I guess I love it on leaves too!
I seemed to have more leaves in the garden than flowers right now so they worked well!
beautiful pictures. I love rain!
Thanks so much Yvonne. I was so happy when the rain returned! ๐
I love your pretty pictures! But the rain has a way of spoiling my plans- (Twilight)
Benji and Tiger totally understand your feeling!
I’m glad! My human is one of those weirdos who love the sight and sound of rain- something’s wrong with her!
Awesome photos! They are as good as National Geographic! ๐
Aw thanks so much!! ๐
