An Iridescent Kind of Morning

Okay I borrowed the word from an Instagram challenge but I thought it fit this morning’s sunshine in the garden.

Yes the bike is part of the garden. I had to laugh when I found it planted there by my husband a few years ago.

But he was right; it’s become a backdrop to the changing of the seasons.

Last month it looked like this.

Next month it will look like this.

It’s all good.

    • I love how the bike became a focal point in my garden. We’ll do our best to keep the ivy from swallowing it up!

  1. I like it too. I just saw a photo of a bicycle painted yellow and being used as β€œyard art” on Pinterest and it reminded me that I had meant to go back and read this post earlier. πŸ˜€

  2. You could also add a basket to the handlebars and make it into a planter for summer photo ops!

  3. Susanne, the comments box is missing from your Benji Heritage post.
    Just so you know. πŸ™‚

    • Thanks for letting me know! I have no idea why as I always allow comments! I went back and checked the box on the post and now I’ll have to keep an eye things! πŸ™‚
